Hey. New board.

Is there a page somewhere that lists all the SI units? I'm assuming a "fonzie" is the unit of cool here.

My favorite is the "helen" for beauty. 1 millihelen is enough to launch 1 ship.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Ok. So Lotus notes doesn't like to play nice with Outlook. I have 2 seperate invites to the same meeting in Outlook so that if I have minor changes that only apply to people here in the office, the client with Lotus who is just calling in doesn't get a million cancellations and reschedules (which is the only way I can find for the meeting to show up in the right spot).

So I cancelled a recurring meeting for today, I thought for both us and the client. Neither of the meetings (the same one really) show up on my calendar. Client says it's still on his.

How?

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Yeah, P-C consistently registers between 34 and 38 megafonzies.

Is that on the Cunningham Scale or the Revised Potsie Warren scale?

Daisy, I have no answers, but have found out that's a major issue between my new companies (I'm technically working for one, who pays me and i have an email address with, but contracted to another, and the big company uses Lotus Notes, and none of their contractors do, and they can't get it working right) Good luck!

Are your issues the same as mine (I have never gotten a look at Lotus, so I don't know what the client is seeing). 1) Meetings do not get updated, they need to be cancelled and rescheduled with the new information. 2) Sometimes, apparently (again, I don't know what it looks like from their side) cancellations don't show up, but it is clearly off my calendar. 3) There is no way to make a change here (include more attendees, change rooms) without it causing some sort of clusterfuck on the Lotus end.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Even when everyone's in Outlook, making modifications to recurring meetings can be a nightmare, IME.

Yeah, I haven't ever seen in Lotus Notes myself, but they're usually the ones scheduling things, and it was specifically mentioned this morning the issues with (a) meeting changes adn (b) recurring meetings not showing up more than the once.
