Verizon Store Guy recommended a hard reset of my phone. Well, I did that, and now I can't get past the fucking language selection screen because none of the fucking buttons are working.
GodDAMNIT I do not have money for a new phone right now. Which means I'm going to wind up with a shitty MotoQ or something because it's all I can get for free with my trade-in discount.
[eta: Has anyone used the LG EnV? It looks like the best free QWERTY keyboard-having phone I can get for free with my current plan. Ideally, I'd like to just upgrade to a Treo 755p and keep all my apps (Freecell & Sudoku, how I'll miss you!) but it's just way outside my current budget.]

I have tomorrow off but I'm not sure I can afford to go grocery shopping at the moment. I'm OK with ignoring the evil device for a little while until I can reward your efforts with a home-cooked meal.
edit: also when I installed itunes at home I got a message that I'm running low on disc space so this might be a lost cause
