Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

The status is NOT quo.

Daniel, since my tech goddessyness remains somewhat superficial, I am not planning to put this scary pile o' parts back together. I will let ND look at it, but if he doesn't want it, the pieces will head your way.

I can send you the original 80GB drive, actually, once we purge it. The one I removed was the new 160GB.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, tommy. I'm just too tired and petulant to do it right right now. Tomorrow, maybe.

I was just looking forward to Norton, you know?

All is well that ends in pizza.

That would be great, Kristin.

Just wanted to say that I'm very impressed with Kristin's mad tech skills. Seriously.

Thanks! I really am rather ridiculously proud of myself. I ended up having to reinstall Leopard in order to migrate my data directly and lose the dual user problem, though, so it took longer than it should have. But right now? Fully functional shiny new laptop with all of my files and preferences and bookmarks and everything.

The alarm is going to go off in four and a half hours, but I'm trying not to think about that.

Our wings are not tired

Looks like I just missed Kristin.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

AT&T is offering refurb 8G iPhones for $249. [link] Someone tell me why I don't want this.

Go you with your mad skillz, Kristin.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

So by default there's nothing free to compress in Windows, right?

Huh? XP has built in zip compression utilities. Right click --> Send to --> Compressed (zipped) Folder.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Indeed. Although I have run into XP mchines where this is not an option. I wonder if it was a SP1 thing?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Or maybe XP Pro/XP Home?
