It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Compassionately intolerant

Thunderbird question.

I was all prepared to love this program until I discovered a particular problem. There seems to be no Sent folder!

In settings, it says 'save to sent folder in local folders', but in search there IS no sent folder to be searched, nor does it appear in the sidebar.

I checked mozilla help and can't find anything about the folder disappearing or how to reinstate it.

Anybody have a clue I could use?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, it doesn't exist, but it'd be cool.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That is kinda pretty.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Bonny, have you sent anything? It might create the folder.

Also you can highlight your account, then go under File..new..folder and type "sent" and create one.

My iPod turned 2 years old and croaked on me. I have the iPod pouty face. I'm beside myself. I love my iPod.

What's wrong with it?

It has the sad face and makes a clicky noise.

Ach. The clicky noise can't be good.

Maybe it's only a hard drive replacement. Depending on the model it's supposedly doable. What model do you have?

OTOH? If you do get a new one, I'm taking donations for my "Daniel gets to take apart another iPod" campaign.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

IME, sad-faced clicky-noise making iPods are mostly good for trading in at the Apple Store for shiny new non-clicky-noise-making ones.

It is a 5th Gen. Was looking at current prices and cringing at the thought of paying to replace my baby.

I just can't see paying $299 for a iTouch and only getting 8GB of space when for $249 I can get and 80GB classic. Not that I have a spare $249 in my back pocket, but still.
