You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

I got it, TB, and I'm going back and delete my e-mail now. I'll get back with you tomorrow. Right now I'm just back from the dentist and have no brane.

eta: I'm glad to be alerted that there might be a problem with that e-mail. I'm just moaning a little because I'm the one who will have to fix it.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ah, there was the search term I was missing. "Find in page."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Can I put an Apple TV into that scenario?

It involves taking the AppleTV apart with a putty knife to get at the drive, but yes: [link]

If I had the mini in the living room I could move the library there and sync them there...

FrontRow (at least the version that comes in Leopard) lets you remotely access other computers' iTunes libraries. AppleTV can also.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. Thanks, Tom. My choices just got a bit more interesting.

Apple is on the verge of releasing a new AppleTV software revision, so you may want to wait to see how hackable the new version is.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

FrontRow (at least the version that comes in Leopard) lets you remotely access other computers' iTunes libraries. AppleTV can also.

You can do that directly via iTunes as well. That is, if you're in iTunes on the Mini, you can directly view the library on the PC.

Our wings are not tired

Nobody here has an Apple TV, do they?

I have an Apple TV. What Tom says is accurate.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Are they any good, NoiseDesign?

Our wings are not tired

I like mine just for the simplicity of getting my downloaded content onto my big screen.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Should I not ask where the content is downloaded from, ND?

How does one control an AppleTV? I know there's an Apple remote, but it doesn't have that many buttons--is it like typing on a TiVo?
