For those who are following the Keynote - can you tell if you can still buy movies or is it now rental only?
Steve isn't saying. I would presume that the studios who were currently selling titles will continue, but the studios who just came on board will be rental only.
In our family these days we have been buying kid movies but Ellie watches them about 100 times (and counting). Still, for me and Joe, I could see "renting" a movie online. But - and this is weird, I know - I feel sort of taken advantage of paying for something that's going to disappear so quickly. I mean, I don't feel that way going to see a movie, so I don't know.

Do you feel that way about renting a DVD?
You can keep and rewatch Netflix DVDs for as long as you like. iTunes rentals will go *poof* after 24 hours.
I was thinking about that when I was typing. See, I haven't rented a DVD in years - like maybe 3? I had Netflix for two years and was happy with that.
Previously, when we did rent, I had no problem renting, but also, no one was threatening to make the DVD go *poof* if I didn't finish the movie in 24 hours.
eta: *poof* x-post - punctuation and all
The 24 hr thing is like PayPerView, where you can watch the movie as many times as you want over 24 hours. But somewhat cheaper.
I don't rent that much, but when I do I usually just watch it once....
Incidentally, Netflix has lifted limits on online movie streaming for all plans except the very cheapest, I think. But there are probably still compatibility issues with non-Windows systems.
Oh, and there should be a *poof* sound effect when it happens. Preceded by a synthesized female voice saying,
Warning - movie poofage commencing in five minutes.
I don't have IE handy to test, but it looks like on the lines where you don't have a bullet, you're missing the final semicolon in your style attribute -- instead of list-style:none; you have list-style:none
Thanks for the suggestion, but nope, that's not it. Besides, the problem is that NOTHING is appearing with a bullet.
