Our wings are not tired

iPhone question. How do you highlight to read the white font in b.org?

You don't.

Along with copy and paste not being possible.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

that is what I was suspecting, but I've only had it for less than one day, so I don't know everything about it yet.

Eta: ya the no copy/paste makes it harder to quote

Compassionately intolerant

If you just need to back up/free up some space, you'll be able to fit a lot more on a DVD if you use it as a data disk.

I'm creating the data disk right now, but downloaded ffmpegx for future use.

I see a lot of backing up in my future.

Thanks so much amych.

Hey. New board.

Along with copy and paste not being possible.

This was one of several features that made me "WTF?" when I was playing with one. It's still the best web-browsing phone interface out there by far, but the lack of selectability is so confusing. I'm hoping they add it to the interface (double-tap drag maybe?) for the second version.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Somehow I suspect Apple programmers are working at copy/paste and it something about it isn't ready for prime time.

Or they are waiting on someone to hack it, and then buy them out.

Not that any of the major players would do that...

Trust my rage

I'm trying to cut the last 4 minutes off of a .avi file (using my Mac). Anyone know free software that will do that?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

iMovie, maybe? Sorry, I haven't played around enough to have any better idea, I just paid up for Quicktime Pro....

All is well that ends in pizza.

I haven't tried it, but SimpleMovieX has a full-featured trial version:

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does anyone have one of the HD TiVos yet? I'm looking for owner opinions. I've been poking around Weaknees now that I've seen that TiVo will let you transfer your lifetime account (but for $199!) from an older model. I wrinkle my nose at "(no video transfer from the unit)".
