I keep losing internet access, and when I run the diagnostic thing, it says it fixed a "problem with wireless adapter or access point." That means it's my computer, not the wi-fi, right?

Jesse,
A recent Lenovo update screwed up my WiFi whereby it would randomly disconnect the adapter. Uninstalling the new file and installing the appropriate one from the Intel site seems to have solved the problem.
Huh, OK. I'll see what I can find.
Okay, nevermind. I still have the problem.
Basically, my Internet will work up to a certain point, and then will freeze. (This seems to always happen when I'm on Outlook.com but I can't be sure since that is my work email and often open.) When I check the wireless adapter settings, the local network one is enabled (it is usually disabled), but all the wireless ports are disabled. If I try to enable them, the "enabling" pop-up window just hangs there. Eventually I get a blue screen of death and if I restart Internet connection is fine again.
I assume this still has to do with the Intel PROset Wireless install, but other items at the same time are an Intel USB 3.0 driver and a Lenovo System Update. Current trying these steps (I'm on a Windows 7 ThinkPad): [link]
Oh, that is weird. And a different problem from mine (which I haven't had recently, but knock on wood) -- my computer was just telling me there was no wi-fi connection, but the trouble-shooter always fixed it right away.

I get that with my work laptop, half the time. And since it's easy to fix, I've never bothered researching it.
Yeah, now that I've gone a few days without it happening, that's fine. But it was super annoying when it was every hour or so!
My new streaming BluRay player loses the network connection more often than not.
