You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Huh, OK. I'll see what I can find.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Okay, nevermind. I still have the problem.

Basically, my Internet will work up to a certain point, and then will freeze. (This seems to always happen when I'm on Outlook.com but I can't be sure since that is my work email and often open.) When I check the wireless adapter settings, the local network one is enabled (it is usually disabled), but all the wireless ports are disabled. If I try to enable them, the "enabling" pop-up window just hangs there. Eventually I get a blue screen of death and if I restart Internet connection is fine again.

I assume this still has to do with the Intel PROset Wireless install, but other items at the same time are an Intel USB 3.0 driver and a Lenovo System Update. Current trying these steps (I'm on a Windows 7 ThinkPad): [link]

Oh, that is weird. And a different problem from mine (which I haven't had recently, but knock on wood) -- my computer was just telling me there was no wi-fi connection, but the trouble-shooter always fixed it right away.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

my computer was just telling me there was no wi-fi connection, but the trouble-shooter always fixed it right away.

I get that with my work laptop, half the time. And since it's easy to fix, I've never bothered researching it.

Yeah, now that I've gone a few days without it happening, that's fine. But it was super annoying when it was every hour or so!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Anyone know how to track down info on a Yelp user? This guy is trolling the wife of a friend. [link]

All is well that ends in pizza.

Any success as yet?

Wow, I can't believe it's been almost 6 months since I was last in here.

Hi all, I've been kind of away for a while. All of my good links are on my Mac and I spend too much time on my windows laptop that I didn't notice that my Mac was ailing. (Well that and my monitor for the G5 going out kind of put a kink in things)

I've been trying to build a Hackintosh so I can import all of my Mac stuff, but I keep meeting with failure. Ach. Old PCs are so finicky.

Anyway, I just got done trying again after work with a fresh partition on my work PC, and managed to crash it for a few hours, but it's back up now.

Being that I'm working from my home, and down to 15 hours per week for now, I'm searching for projects and a new used Mac.

Ailing or not, let me know what kind of Intel Macs you all have to sell or trade or give away. You all know how I like a challege.

Feel free to email me at dcjensen at Gmail dot com.

I don't think so.
