The only outstanding update is iPhoto.
There’s this, then.
It looks like I need to figure out what happened to the printer library.

When I try to log onto Facebook, either on my home computer or on my work computer, I get a warning that malware may have infected my computer. Both computer are Macbooks. It gives me a link to [link] and says to run the anti-virus software there, and then click a box to certify that I've run it, but there isn't any antivirus software there to run -- there's just information about how to say what apps are allowed to run. Is this something I need to worry about?
Hard to believe, but it's probably malware.
I suggest downloading the free Malwarebytes for Mac [link] it's worth trying.
Thanks. I did a scan with Avira, and it found nothing, so I figured it's probably OK. It seemed weird to get the alert on two different computers.
Well, I've decided that in January - assuming I get an actual raise and not one like last year's where my take-home pay went DOWN after the "raise" kicked in - that I'll upgrade to an actual smartphone. I've been using my old flip phone (try not to laugh - I'll get enough of that when I turn it in).
Any suggestions for which phone? Basically, I want to make phone calls and do a little texting; my hair salon has gone to text-only reminders and the dumbphone won't let me reply. When I try to hit "c" to confirm, it autocorrects to "Cab" ... NOT the message I want to send.
Well, if you are looking for just the basics, I'm pretty happy with my Moto E that costs like $50.
Todd, I used a flip phone until February of this year. I use a Moto G, which is either the model before Gud's Moto E, or the one after it, and it's great for basic stuff.
