I use the Android-only 'Open Tasks'
However it's pretty basic and the big attraction for me is that it integrates with my private cloud. There are probably better featured apps, but if you like simple it might be worth a look and it's free.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

I'll second Wunderlist. Started using it at the end of the school year. Share tasks with others on the list. Have private lists. Actually, rather useful.
Thanks! Doesn't need to be portable or sharable, this is for work.
Ran into some extra money so I bought an Apple Watch. I'm in the store getting it set up now.
Ooooh.
Hey, did you ever get that mindfulness device, Spire was it?
Yeah. I was unable to get it to load data to my iPhone Health app. Dunno if I'm still going to use it one I get the watch set up.
I've been having that problem with my polar apps/devices. The sync with Health worked for a while and then didn't. Was really nice while it worked...
For task management, I have been using Todoist for daily workload but just added Trello and I'm liking the combination. Trello essentially lets you create multiple whiteboards for each project (mine are - ideas, to-do, working and completed) and move items from one to the next. For a project with stages, Trello lets me see at a glance where I am plus the ideas board lets me write down all of my random thoughts and ideas before I forget them and then decide later if they are at all reasonable and where they should go in the project plans.

I got one a few weeks ago and I'm really liking it.
So I set up my Apple Watch to give me health alerts, such as telling me to stand up at least once every hour. Today I was sitting on the toilet when it vibrated and chirped and said, "Stand Up now!" I was all, "Dude, let me wipe first!"
