So I set up my Apple Watch to give me health alerts, such as telling me to stand up at least once every hour. Today I was sitting on the toilet when it vibrated and chirped and said, "Stand Up now!" I was all, "Dude, let me wipe first!"

The new iPad Pro looks pretty sweet but I so don't need one. Looks like it'd be great for graphics professionals.
I so would love a new ipad, my OG one is pretty long in the tooth. But that's going to have to wait until finances calm down. Maybe in a year.
I think I need a new Apple TV.
They just got me an iPad for my theatre job, and I am afraid I am going to hate it. I need it to shop online and to make spreadsheets, and I feel like it is not best suited to that. They did get me a keyboard.
Do you guys think it will be OK? I have typed things on my kindle and my iphone and I HATE IT for spreadsheets.
Will you be using Numbers for the spreadsheets or Excel? I have used Numbers some on the iPad and it's okay, has some adaptations that make it not so terrible. Excel I have not tried.
Google Sheets or Excel. I do a lot of typeing of words, and only minor formulas, but I connect things throughout sheets to make various lists (costumes by character, costumes by scene, costumes by laundry instructions, and budgeting) without retyping the same info 100 million times.
Yeah, I don't know, I haven't edited those types of spreadsheets on my iPad, only viewed. I don't love typing on it, but a keyboard would probably make a big difference.
t /thought I could help, but not so much
I prefer the iPad to the iPhone for going online. My aging eyes appreciate the larger screen. Also, the keys on the iPad are larger, so I'm less likely to make a typo because my finger was 1/100 of an inch off.
I've never done spreadsheets on Apple products.
Thanks -t and Fred. A lot of my reticence has to do with my lack of time to have a learning curve- I have an efficient way to do things, and I just don't have time to learn to type on a tablet. Also the person who purchases these things for me has a years long history of getting me things that I hate and are too complicated for what I need.
