Aaargh. I have no idea whether this is relevant, but the reason I restarted my phone was because a Tweet hadn't sent and the notification wouldn't go away. When I restarted (Samsung Galaxy S4), it said my SD card was unmounted. It wouldn't recognize it to mount it again, even after popping it out and in again and restarting (plus turning it off and on again). What the hell is going on?

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I was recently having SD Card issues (along with other random issues) and a new battery fixed it, weirdly. Only suspected it might be the battery because it was also randomly shutting off every so often.
I would use an SD card reader in your computer and make sure the card is working fine, and if it is then move from there.
If you do try a new battery (not a bad idea to have a spare anyway) I have had good luck with my Anker batteries. I bought a 2 pack with a wall charger for less than 1 OEM battery and my battery life and stability both increased greatly.
ita, insent.
Can anyone running desktop Safari tell me if they see any pictures here?
I see 2 pictures, but I had to reload the page to get them to show up (when it first loaded, it was only the text).
I just see the eye. Reloading doesn't change anything, except I saw some image flash very quickly.
I had the same issue on Safari for iPad. If I arrow to the right, I see the guy walking the dog. Then arrow left, back to the linked page, I get a brief flash of a picture. Building and scaffolding?? But then it disappears.
I do see the Eye at the top. It's half Gatsby like. Just need the glasses. Or Sauron?
I could use some help. I'm doing some emergency work for a website, and trying to figure out what controls the background of this page.
Looking at the style sheet (here), it seems like it would be controlled by the bit under * Gradient Background *, but I've tried changing that to no effect, and it also looks like it's somehow related to the sidebars? Which is not what I want to change at all.
I didn't do this install or theme, so I'm at a bit of a loss.
It's in black_red.css, line 10:
#container { background: #f4f4f4 url(black_red/bgtile.jpg) repeat-x top left; }
Then why does it appear as a gradient? And in case I'm using the wrong terminology, I don't mean the background of the text boxes, but the overall page background.
(And I am HUGELY grateful for your help, Mr. Scola.)
