Can anyone running desktop Safari tell me if they see any pictures here?
I see 2 pictures, but I had to reload the page to get them to show up (when it first loaded, it was only the text).
I just see the eye. Reloading doesn't change anything, except I saw some image flash very quickly.
I had the same issue on Safari for iPad. If I arrow to the right, I see the guy walking the dog. Then arrow left, back to the linked page, I get a brief flash of a picture. Building and scaffolding?? But then it disappears.
I do see the Eye at the top. It's half Gatsby like. Just need the glasses. Or Sauron?
I could use some help. I'm doing some emergency work for a website, and trying to figure out what controls the background of this page.
Looking at the style sheet (here), it seems like it would be controlled by the bit under * Gradient Background *, but I've tried changing that to no effect, and it also looks like it's somehow related to the sidebars? Which is not what I want to change at all.
I didn't do this install or theme, so I'm at a bit of a loss.
It's in black_red.css, line 10:
#container { background: #f4f4f4 url(black_red/bgtile.jpg) repeat-x top left; }
Then why does it appear as a gradient? And in case I'm using the wrong terminology, I don't mean the background of the text boxes, but the overall page background.
(And I am HUGELY grateful for your help, Mr. Scola.)
The background tile image it points to (black_red/bgtile.jpg) is a gradient.
Ohhhhh. Which is not something I can override, and I don't think I can edit that image or that style sheet. Hell.
Thanks again, Tom.
