512MB of system memory and Android 4.1 is not a good mix. All the Nexus devices ship with 1GB at least.

There is a newer version of Android designed to run well on 512MB devices, but I'm not sure this particular model will ever see it.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Crap, my Mighty Mouse is malfunctioning. The left button is acting like the right, and the problem follows the mouse.

I've mapped the scroll nub press to be primary for now, but I keep forgetting.

I kind of got used to it, now I will have to train myself to a real scroll wheel.

Or none, if I can dig up any usb mouse to use until I get a job.

I would not buy an off-brand Android tablet unless you are prepared to put up with really lousy screen quality. Compared to an iPad, even top brand Android tablets are pretty disappointing. (I haven't put a Nexus side by side yet, but my Galaxy Tab doesn't even come close.) I really don't like iOS7, but I would put up with it for the retina display over what I've seen from the Android tablet market.

Hey. New board.

The latest generations of Android tablet have higher brightness and resolution than iPad screens. But certainly the lower end isn't really comparable.

I want a Note Pro tablet but a 12.5 inch screen is ridiculous and it's all they've got so far. Plus I can't afford one.

The Nexus 7 2013 screen is comparable to an iPad Mini, which is to say very, very nice. This wasn't the case for the prior Nexus 7, so don't be tempted by those when you see them on sale.

Is there a way to Print Screen on a Mac?

Shift-Command-4 will let you select a portion of the screen to grab. I think to print the full screen is Command-4, but I almost never want to do that.

Or you can save a page as a PDF from the Print dialog box of any application.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Isn't there a little camera looking application that helps you to take screen shots and crop them. I remember having a lot of trouble without this after I switched to a PC.
