Hey. New board.
I have the strangest problem. Ever since I got my phone back in April, on which I use Google Voice, I've noticed that I have issues receiving GV text notifications (and occasionally sending text messages) when I'm on my home wifi. I also have consistently had problems accessing Youtube using the Youtube app (not the website!) on my phone, again, only on my home wifi. Both apps work perfectly on my school's wifi, my parents' wifi, and on LTE/3g.
I did a factory reset of my router a few months ago, which seemed to fix it for a while, but it's back now. And sometimes if i switch the channel my WLAN is using it improves for a while, but it always reverts.
Only on my phone, and only on my home wifi. Meg's iPhone has no problem, and I haven't noticed issues with the Youtube app on my Android tablet either, though it sometimes loses the whole wifi connection randomly.
I know my router sucks (a new one is on my wish list) but this is such an odd problem that I don't even know where to start in diagnosing it. Why would just these things be broken, and only at home? I don't have any weird firewalls or anything set up on the router. Any ideas, people who understand networking better than I do?
The router has DD-WRT installed, if that helps anything

More on the Edison: "Jammed into an SD card, the 400MHz Quark processor on board has two cores, flash memory, and includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy for communication. It runs Linux on one core and a real time operating system on the other. You can program Edison by inserting the board into the SD card reader of your computer. The pins on the bottom of the board are capable of GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI, and PWM."

It did not come with a cord of any kind.
How is she supposed to get the pictures on to her computer? She thinks she needs to buy another SD card, but that seems like it wouldn't work unless she has an SD reader.
All the cameras I have ever used just plugged into the computer, and then you dragged the pictures over.

Sophia, it looks like it uses a mini USB cable.
Be careful, though, a *mini* USB connector is different than a *micro* USB connector.
