Wow, I didn't even realize that had happened, but I definitely wouldn't have set up a Google+ account to continue to use Feedly.

Would that Yahoo! would roll back their email changes.

It would appear that Mavericks has completely frelled my workflow for email.

I have 3 main email accounts that hit a unified inbox in the Apple Mail App. I run about a dozen rules to move messages into folders as they arrive in my inbox. Sometimes this means that messages are coming in on one email and are getting moved to a folder that may be part of another email account. Until Mavericks all of this was working pretty well. Unfortunately all of these accounts use Gmail Apps as the backend, and the Mail App is no longer working and playing well with Gmail.

Does anyone have recommendations for other email clients on the Mac that work well with rules applying to Gmail accounts? Right now the rules are sort of working, but they are copying messages into the folders and not moving them. Thus I end up with copies of the email in two places and an inbox that constantly has 50+ unread messages, the majority of which should be already put aside into folders so that they aren't fighting for my attention.

yeah, the Apple Mail/Gmail thing is a big problem in Mavericks.

I do not have another email client recommendation, ND. You might try looking over in Macworld to see if they have recent articles about this.

I've done a bunch of checking and the big ones are Airmail and Postbox.

Airmail doesn't have rules yet, and I've been playing with Postbox and really don't like the interface and the rules need to be setup for each account, so it would make them even more convoluted.

Thunderbird is another option but it is no longer under active development, and then there is Outlook, but from what I've been reading that causes havoc will all sorts of other things.

ND, not sure if there is a Maverick version. Have you tried Thunderbird? It's the email client from Mozilla (Firefox folks).

I just bought a Pebble! Hooray for birthday money!

I think I may turn off email notifications, unless there's a way to filter by Gmail Priority Inbox settings. The SMS and phone call notification features are way cool. I haven't started to explore what else it can do.

Does anyone *cough*Amy*cough* know if a Wordpress blog can be set up to be entirely private--only registered members can see anything.
