The new MacPros are $3K.

I'm sad there never was an OS X Sphynx. Or OS X Hairless Cat.
I recently bought this bluetooth headset and so far I haven't been able to get any of the buttons on the device to work.
It says it's paired with my iPhone (4, running iOS 7) and it does transmit audio, but the play/pause, volume, ff/rw buttons are totally non-functional.
This is the first bluetooth headset I've had on iOS (my last was with my Treo) - is this sort of thing a common problem? Or do I just have a dud unit?
I overheard tech support at work trying to talk someone through setting their iPhone up as the mike/speakers for their laptop, so they could speak into it while using the software phone.
Has anyone heard of that? Is it doable?
Jessica, I have a bluetooth Jawbone and use it with my iPhone (5, running iOS 7) and haven't had a problem. But I don't have any fancy buttons either.
Jessica, did you install the drivers for your HBS-730? Maybe that's what makes the buttons work.
eta: Drivers are needed for Android. So far I haven't seen that they're needed for iOS.
I don't even know where I'd begin to do that - I've never had to install driver in iOS before.
