Trust my rage

I am not good with notes/reminders/programs like Evernote for myself. My brain just doesn't work that way. But I'm looking for an app that I can use with the two other people at my officer where I can put tasks on other people's lists and then look to see when they've been done, etc.

Does that exist?

Bugnotes.com is one possibility--it's a project-based task list.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am about to snap with regards to task list replacements. I thought I was close, for free. Maybe not free is the way to go. But how to evaluate the paid ones? Play Store is crap for that. I need long enough to set a reminder and ignore it, amongst using other functionality. That's tense in 15 minutes.

This is where I am so far:

Key features (all items weighted 2 unless specified):

1. Recurring tasks 1. From date completed (haircut) (3) 2. From date due (rent) (3) 3. Range of intervals (1) 2. Reminders 1. Pop ups (1) 2. System tray (3) 3. Emails 4. Nag (1) 5. Before due date as well as on and after (1) 3. Attachments (1) 4. Background syncing (3) 5. Widgets 6. Simplicity 1. Single gesture to add task (3) 2. Single gesture to close task (3) 3. Two gestures to delete task (1) 7. Cross-device compatibility (3)

Apps tried: Any.do: fails on 1.1/1.2. Excellent at 2. Lovely UI. Toodletasks: fails on 4,5, 2.1,2.2. Excellent at 1 Task List: Good at so many! Fails at 6.1, Weak at 5, Fails at 2.4. So good at 1.3! Tasks Free: Google tasks overlay. Fails 1 entirely. Fails 3. Passes 6

I've tested more than that, actually, just not written them up. Yet.

Can you tell I'm in the middle of not one, but two, vendor selections at my day job? Hmm.

Evernotes isn't primarily a reminder program (it just got hybrid in a recent release)--are you looking for something like Google tasks/Toodle Do/Tasks List/etc? I don't have group tasks as a requirement for myself so I'm not noticing where it's featured, but I am pretty sure Task List has it, for instance.

Or a note app?

Depends on the state.

Both people on the recording consenting, me and the other person consenting, is not sufficient? What other consent is needed?

Was Remember the Milk one of the ones you tested?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ita, IMO, I think you may want to use evernote + followupthen. I think the combination of both will get you exactly what you need.

followupthen was what I used when most of the todo apps weren't working for me. it sends you and email whenever you tell it to and can do so recurring. you can also tell it to text you (premium feature). FUT also allows attachments (premium).

No--it's one of the ones on the list of "pro might work". Cross device syncing, widgets, app tray/notification reminders, etc come with the money.

LeN, are FUT and Evernote integrated? How do they together provide the answer?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

oh. that's a good q. they are not integrated, but sometimes I have a more involved evernote note and I will put the note link in an email to FUT and when I click the link, it opens evernote.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Is anyone here involved with developing apps for different platforms? I think it is interesting that these guys opened themselves up for criticism like this: [link]
