I need some PC help. Mac has a pc, a %^&$% windows 8 PC and we have downloaded the DC Universe Online game to it. Specifically to his user desktop which has parental control on it. We have never been able to access the game directly. Clicking on the Launchpad icons that showed up with install opens an IE window that shows only a pic of the launchpad icon (same size as icon on the desktop) and the web address bar reads with the drive pathway where we told the game to download on the C drive. Help? ideas?
I am on with DC Universe support web chat, but they seem utterly confused.

Tivo is grey-screening again. Weaknees repairs come with a 6-month warranty, and mine was done 7 months ago.
I think reformatting is probably not going to help at this point, so I need to either replace the hard drive or ditch Tivo for the cable company DVR. Apparently you can now record 10 shows at once on those, so that's something.

Cablevision DVR is installing (thank goodness for having a car) and Weaknees just emailed back to say my warranty is good until the end of the month - apparently I can't count. So one way or another I'll be able to watch TV this week.
I wonder if Weaknees would extend the warranty an extra month so I can deal with this after vacation. I don't want to risk having it fixed and then shipped back while I'm on vacation.
