Definitely if you are bothering to bring it to GB press hard for replacement unit. Does not sound like there is any other fix, and if won't do it after you press hard, than at least you tried and can write them off as giving you lousy customer service, whatever they may do for others.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

HTML question for photo captioning:

When you post a photo to a blog/livejournal, the standard image html (, etc.) places the photo on the left corner of the page, with a substantial blank space left on the right side of the photo if the photo is of a moderate size. If, rather than putting the caption/description of the photo underneath the photo, I want to place the caption on the right side of the photo -- say, around the middle of the blank space, how would I make that happen with html? Uh, I know minimal about coding so simpler would be better.

<img src="" align="right" vspace="10" border="0">

or <img src="" style="float: right; margin-left: 10px;">

Oh wait, you mean the caption. You'll need divs:

<div> image here <div style="float: right; margin-left: 10px;> caption here </div></div>

What are favorite ad and popup blockers these days. Somehow I managed to uninstall all mine on Chrome and I don't remember what I used.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I just use the AdBlock extension to Chrome.

Coding and Sleeping

Ghostery is also useful for blocking trackers.

My essential extensions (Firefox and Chrome) are:

AdBlock - everybody knows what that is

Ghostery - tracker blocking

Lazarus - saves text box input so you don't have to retype if a post fails or you accidentally delete it before posting.

LastPass - Password management

And gmail stuff.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

It is a revelation. I love it.
