Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I downloaded a music video from Youtube for Dylan to put on his iPod, and the damn thing will not sync. Granted, this was not strictly a legal download, but I've done it before without any problems - any ideas?
The "Create iPod version" option is nowhere in sight, but I'm not sure if that's iTunes 11 or if it means this is already compatible. It's a regular H.264 mp4 file, exactly like every other video on this device.
Got it, ARGH. Stupid device.

Slightly less blinking text.
Am I misremembering, or did Gmail used to have a "Save to Docs" option for attachments? It seems supremely stupid that I have to download this PDF and re-upload it in order to get it from Gmail to Drive. (There is a Chrome extension for this, but the current release notes say Google disabled it. WTF?)
If you "View" the attachment you get a button to "Add to Drive"
Where? I've read that a couple of places but I don't see it.
Jessica,
you could use attachments.me extension. I used it, but have used it more sporadically since they are now charging for the service (not a complaint, just a fact on my part).
Or you could get a box.net account and email the attachment to a shared folder.
it seems gmail has changed their options regarding google docs integration.
When I click on view, a new tab opens up showing the document. In the upper right corner are three buttons "Add to Drive", "Download original", and "Share".
Also, if I click on "File" in the upper left I get a menu that includes Add to Drive.
