Feedly is proving to be a completely inadequate replacement for Google Reader. It's just incompetent at marking things as read and syncing between browser sessions.
Anyone else using a service they're happy with?

That's sad. I haven't been having any problems, but I'm only using it on the computer.
I'm only using it on the desktop as well, and every time I switch computers or click All to refresh the feed, it skips back to posts 4 days old. Completely infuriating.
Huh. Maybe it's a glitch with "All". I don't use it since I read by folder (mostly to separate feeds with ridiculous numbers of posts like TLo and Eater). But, yeah, that would drive me bonkers.
I haven't had that problem, Jessica. Are you using the Chrome add-on? It's working pretty well for me.
You could try The Old Reader. [link]
I hate the front page of Feedly, but have been just bookmarking the "latest" page instead, and that's working for me.
Yeah, I'm using the Chrome app. As a test, I just scrolled through to the bottom of my feeds (every folder in the sidebar says 0), hit "All" and it's loading posts from a month ago! Ditto when I hit the refresh button. I have "unread only" turned on. This app is bullshit.
To follow up on my post from Friday about jailbreak the AppleTV. Apparently the latest Seas0nPass hack requires AppleTV5.2.0, and the script downloads the latest version, which is 5.2.1, which makes it not able to jailbreak. So. No luck. will update when I do.
I have noticed that "All" seems to always show old feeds whenever there are no unread feeds. Even with "unread only" turned on. When I do have unread items, it only shows those, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be happy with an empty page, so when I have no unread items, it shows the old posts (slightly grayed out) but still says "no unread articles" at the top.
I don't know why it does that, but I very rarely have no unread articles when I go to feedly, so it's not a huge deal for me.
Here's a feedback section on that problem: [link]
You can vote for it. I don't know the goal of this feature, but it's obviously frustrating to more than just you.
For now, though, maybe give The Old Reader a try. It seems pretty nice.
