Anyone familiar with setting up a DNS server on a Windows server? (A Windows 2008 server, specifically.)

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I don't venture in here very often, but I have a problem.
Either my power cord is failing or my battery is. I have a macbook pro circa 2008 and I've already replaced the power cord once for it.
Just in the last few days the cord would only glow orange, then just a few minutes ago it stopped lighting up at all.
Then the computer just went off. When I restarted it the cord is orange but the battery is reading 0. It had been reading 96% before it went off.
Now it's starting to slowly charge.
Any ideas?
I'd first check to see how your battery is doing. My light indicator on the power cord is sometimes fritzy, so I kinda ignore it. But I have had similar behavior when my battery stopped being useful and so I replaced it.
About this Mac under the apple menu-> more info-> power
Check cycle count and condition.
I'm not super techy, this is just from experience.
I went through two batteries on my Macbook before I something more front and centre broke and I ended up replacing it. I like the machines, but I'm suspicious of the power system from wall all the way inside.
aka anecdata says battery...
Mine was a refurb bought in mid-2008, so it is maybe a 2007 model? But I got the new battery for xmas 2011, I think.
You can also try try this: [link]
Well the cycle count is 31 and the condition is Check Battery. WTF?
Ok, I have that bookmarked. I don't think I will try anything right now, since I'm heading to bed. But I will give it a try. Thanks Tom.
If you have an Apple store nearby take the battery in, especially if it is only a year old. When I have had bad batteries, or failing batteries Apple has almost always replaced them for free at the Genuis Bar.
anyone else having trouble with their AppleTV? I did the update the other day. I can do Netflix, no problem. But it will not access the iTunes Store. Tried unplugging trick. Didn't work. Tried logging out of iTunes Store in pref's. Now, can not log back in. Just wondering if I'm the only one, or is there a problem.
