it has great potential. But says "by using the local IOS calendar app". So I sent a note to the developer asking, if I am having issues with sync with my local iOS app, will I have issues with your app too? We shall see! Thanks for the rec!

Anyone want to help me figure out which Kindle I want to get? I've finally decided that having something slightly larger than my iPhone, but smaller than the iPad (so I can put it in my purse and have all the books with me) is a necessity.
I don't care about multimedia capabilities, which is why I'm not looking at the Fire. But I don't know if I want the basic Kindle, or a Paperwhite.
Paperwhite! I got one and it is fantastic, it has great contrast in daylight, total darkness, and everything in-between.
I also love my paperwhite!
Yeah, I really want the Paperwhite. I love my regular Kindle but having to have proper light is a pain, especially when sharing a bed.
I am very tempted by my roommate's Paperwhite.
My problem is that lately I've been sending more and more of my purchased books to the iPad, not because I enjoy reading on it particularly (the Kindle is nicer on my eyes), but because the setup for looking at and choosing the books I have read/want to read/etc is easier and nicer. Ugh.
I have a Kindle Fire and I like having the light and being able to watch Netflix on it but it is heavy - so a Paperwhite would be better.
About the first thing I did went I got it was to walk from a well-lit room into a pitch black room and watch the screen look exactly the same.
The Fire is useful for surfing and media, but I'm doing most of my reading on the Paperwhite.
Definitely the Paperwhite. I have an old keyboard Kindle, and I love it, but I definitely envy the contrast on the Paperwhite.
