The Aliph Jawbone is interesting. Apparently a busy LA intersection and my bedroom both sound the same to the person on the other end--and clear. The sound *I* hear isn't as good as with my Motorola, but it's certainly perfectly clear. It's just a bit more hollow.
Most of the complaints I've read about it are comfort. There are four earbuds and four over the ear hooks. I've only tried one so far--not comfortable enough for a half hour yet.
Does anyone have their Tivo hooked up to a Mac/Airport wireless network ? If so, what network adapter do you use? I was thinking of the one at the top of this page , but really that's just because it was easy to find.
I have one of those, Lee, but I don't have Airport. It took me a while to get it to work. Turned out the Tivo was claiming it wasn't getting an IP address via DHCP from my router, but my router claimed it was supplying one. I had to give the Tivo a fixed IP address and tell my router to reserve an IP address for the Tivo.
So I may have to come back in and flail if I do buy it?
Has anyone had the touch wheel on their iPod fail? I have 20G photo iPod, and it is acting very strange, and I can't figure out if it's a short somewhere or if this is fixable. First it started out that the wheel seem to have shifted a bit, so I had to click just to the left of menu to navigate the menus and just to the right of the play/pause area to get that to work. Now those areas are responding when I click only every few clicks, and all other times I am advancing the much forwards or backwards. Today I also managed to get the iPod playing in fast forward and couldn't get it to stop for quite a while. Now the centre button is not responding everytime I click it.
Has anyone had any experience with this, or heard if this is a known thing? I've tried googling variations on click wheel problems and touch wheel problems and I haven't found anything.
Lee, that's the wireless adapter I have and it talks to my Airports just fine.
Oh yay! Okay, I will go buy it now, and then come back and flail at you when I need to set it up.

I have two Tivos with those adapters and they have talked to both the 802.11g Airport station and my current 802.11n. They also work fine with the 802.11g Linksys in the house.
Is there a way to view whitefont on the iPhone?
Not that I've figured out.
