The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh yay! Okay, I will go buy it now, and then come back and flail at you when I need to set it up.

Our wings are not tired

Does anyone have their Tivo hooked up to a Mac/Airport wireless network ? If so, what network adapter do you use? I was thinking of the one at the top of this page , but really that's just because it was easy to find.

I have two Tivos with those adapters and they have talked to both the 802.11g Airport station and my current 802.11n. They also work fine with the 802.11g Linksys in the house.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Is there a way to view whitefont on the iPhone?

Not that I've figured out.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

At last, something that the iPhone can't do!

Not that I'm jealous or anything. And I did get to play with one at the Apple Store last week and was filled with technolust such as I've not felt in a long long time. But I shall be strong, and unemployed to boot.

If I buy an iPhone, will the wonderfulness get me a job?

not your mom's socks.

oh hivemind with the 1s and 0s... I am looking for a good (affordable-to-cheap/free) way to brainstorm and plan online with a farflung (and somewhat high-maintenance) group. Asynchronous is preferred. I've been given an extra project - develop a 3-year strategic plan with 50+ community members from around the country. Lots of ideas will be generated. But no new staff to take the extra work. Whee. Still, online planning is much preferred over 7:30pm town-hall meetings every three weeks. I would be so grateful for the help.

am iphone jealous. even with the whitefont oversight.

FWIW, I understand GTalk has added conferencing -- you'd all be on the same IM chat, if typed conversation is what you like. For cheap voice, I dunno.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There was a piece of online software being used in the revision of the cheesebutt page, but I can't remember offhand what it was.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Sox,

have you tried Campfire? I have heard a lot of good things about it.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Campfire is excellent; I've also heard good things of Zoho Project (haven't used it, but I like a lot of their other tools.)
