Yeah, it basically confirms that there's not really anything that meets my needs. I'd stay with Virgin Mobile if they didn't force me to add money every 3 months, and if their plan didn't give me free minutes, but not texts and data. I don't mind paying for texts and data, but it's stupid to have my plan focused on the one thing I use least.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I'm with Virgin Mobile too, Dana. I hadn't heard about them dropping certain plans.
I hadn't changed mine since I signed up over two years ago, and it wasn't offered on the website any more, so I wasn't surprised that it's being phased out.

Ah... so can you not do Beyond Talk with your phone? Or are they too pricey? Not trying to be pushy, just wondering.
I could, I just really don't use my phone that much.
Can anyone tell if this a legit email from Google? Because I didn't create a new email address, but I can't tell if this is phishing or hacking:

Did you sign up for something else that might have involved creating a Google account?
I don't think so. My name is spelled wrong and I haven't signed up for anything today. I've just been thinking about that guy whose Mac and iPhone were wiped.
