These are the ones I bought on recommendation of ND--though they're earbuds, not over the ear, they are noise-canceling. I do like them on the plane.
Cool.
A year ago an Apple Store employee told me that noise-canceling earbuds did not exist. I'll have to try these.
dcp's recommendation are the ones I have as well. I couldn't fly without them. They are the bomb! I also use them in Starbucks.
The case they come in is a bit too bulky, so I have a mesh case with a hook so I hook them on to my briefcase.
I don't know the official word on webOS, but most of the original team either moved on a while ago or were laid off more recently.
I was reading "Pivot"? The app store for WebOS has a magazine, which is weird. And it includes some really lame assed fashion. But I think it said that HP was focussing on software not hardware. However, I'm sure a million things have changed since that was written.
Two CEO changes, if nothing else.
I could never figure out why HP bought Palm in the first place. Some of us had a theory it was just to scare Microsoft into knocking $0.50 off the licensing fee for Windows. Given how many Windows machines HP ships that would have paid for the acquisition in one year.
A long article on the downfall of Palm and WebOS: [link]
Yeah, that was fascinating.

A year ago he was wrong as well. I have the model before this one and have been using them for at least 3 years now, and they weren't a new model when I purchased them.
Does anyone here have any Blackboard experience? We are using it to manage some distance learning assignments that involved scanning and uploading the assignments. Some of the students do not have scanners, so they are sending me hard copies. I need to upload them to Blackboard so the instructor (also distance) can grade them). However, I can't upload them like I am the student, and they do not show in the "needs to be graded" view for the instructor.
Any idea other than emailing the scanned items back to the student to upload them?
