Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What is the official word on WebOS? Moving it to open source, and no more development?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

These are the ones I bought on recommendation of ND--though they're earbuds, not over the ear, they are noise-canceling. I do like them on the plane.

Cool.

A year ago an Apple Store employee told me that noise-canceling earbuds did not exist. I'll have to try these.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

dcp's recommendation are the ones I have as well. I couldn't fly without them. They are the bomb! I also use them in Starbucks.

The case they come in is a bit too bulky, so I have a mesh case with a hook so I hook them on to my briefcase.

I don't know the official word on webOS, but most of the original team either moved on a while ago or were laid off more recently.

I was reading "Pivot"? The app store for WebOS has a magazine, which is weird. And it includes some really lame assed fashion. But I think it said that HP was focussing on software not hardware. However, I'm sure a million things have changed since that was written.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Thanks, everyone.

Two CEO changes, if nothing else.

I could never figure out why HP bought Palm in the first place. Some of us had a theory it was just to scare Microsoft into knocking $0.50 off the licensing fee for Windows. Given how many Windows machines HP ships that would have paid for the acquisition in one year.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Yeah, that was fascinating.

Our wings are not tired

A year ago an Apple Store employee told me that noise-canceling earbuds did not exist.

A year ago he was wrong as well. I have the model before this one and have been using them for at least 3 years now, and they weren't a new model when I purchased them.
