Oh, cool. Verizon offers pre-owned Incredibles at $50 with 2 year contract so I guess I can at least get some part of that. I did not know Amazon buys used cellphones! Will investigate. Thanks!

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I just got a Xoom 2 WiFi tablet, and I was wondering if there were some must-have Android apps that I should look at.
My cat stepped on my laptop (macbook Pro) keyboard, and somehow turned the screen off. Does anyone know the keyboard shortcut. I am getting impatient with google.
Try the screen brightness button. My cat dims my laptop displays to nothing all the time.
eta: Cats seem to know all sorts of keyboard shortcuts that do weird things....
The brightness button doesn't work :(
Rats. Must be some secret key combination only kitties know.
Closing the MacBook and opening it again doesn't make the screen come on?
No! But apparent shift control eject does!
Huh! That puts my display to sleep, but all I need to do to wake it up is press any key. A cool keyboard shortcut though!

Microsoft Surface Reportedly Wi-Fi-Only, Will Start at $599
Microsoft’s Surface tablet will launch as a Wi-Fi-only device, according to a report from Bloomberg. And though Microsoft has remained ambiguous about its tablet’s pricing, saying it will be “comparable” to tablets with similar specs, a report from The Next Web indicates the Windows RT model will start at $599, and the Windows 8 Pro model will start at $999.
At the Surface’s unveiling Monday, Microsoft execs pointed out that the tablet comes with 2×2 MIMO antennas, giving the device a very strong Wi-Fi connection. But there was no mention of 3G or 4G connection capabilities.
