Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Hey. New board.

Huh! That puts my display to sleep, but all I need to do to wake it up is press any key. A cool keyboard shortcut though!

This whole page is cool: [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Microsoft Surface Reportedly Wi-Fi-Only, Will Start at $599

Microsoft’s Surface tablet will launch as a Wi-Fi-only device, according to a report from Bloomberg. And though Microsoft has remained ambiguous about its tablet’s pricing, saying it will be “comparable” to tablets with similar specs, a report from The Next Web indicates the Windows RT model will start at $599, and the Windows 8 Pro model will start at $999.

At the Surface’s unveiling Monday, Microsoft execs pointed out that the tablet comes with 2×2 MIMO antennas, giving the device a very strong Wi-Fi connection. But there was no mention of 3G or 4G connection capabilities.

So I finally installed OS X Lion on my MacBook Pro.

For those who are using Lion and have not changed the up/down trackpad scrolling direction back to the way it was in pre-Lion days, how long did it take you to get used to the change?

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

For me, only a couple of days, but then I was already used to scrolling that way on my iPhone.

Me too.

This will be a test of brain plasticity. I hope my old noggin can adapt in a few days too.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yeah, just a few days. Now I am confused momentarily when I use other people's machines.

I upgraded to Lion just so I could use this:

Satellite Eyes

Satellite Eyes is a simple Mac app that automatically changes your desktop wallpaper to the satellite view of where you are, right now.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yeah, I had to change the scrolling. I couldn't take Lion's default.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think this had mostly to do with the fact that I am still using Snow Leopard computers and having to go back and forth was too much.
