Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
Chatty!co-worker has summed up the line for the iPhone thusly: "Serenity t-shirt, Serenity t-shirt, Serenity slogan t-shirt, Apple t-shirt, hot chick with Lisa Loeb glasses, Serenity t-shirt, Serenity t-shirt...."
Yeah, yeah, blah blah stereotypecakes; it still made me laugh.
The hot chick with the Lisa Loeb glasses is writing about it.
I work literally across the street from the mall where Hot Chick With Lisa Loeb Glasses is blogging.

From the blog:
We stood in line briefly before a security guard came to shoo us away. "Are you in line for the iPhone, ma'am? The line can't start until 9:00."
::snerk:: So utterly unsurprising.
Living in PR is such a bummer. There is *no* iPhone buzz here. I see people saying they are sick of hearing about it but it's not even a thing here.
Someone's already disassembled an iPhone: [link] (I think this is not a permalink.)
My 8GB iPhone is updating and syncing.
That is all.
Is it as cool as it looks?
Did you have to wait in a long line?
Give us details!
ND, there is a thread over at howardsforums filled with people pissed because their iphone didn't update and sync.
Sounds like you didn't have any problems. I wonder what you did correctly that the others did not.

Mark and I knew you weren't at Uni putting out fires last night...
ND is still asleep, but I can tell you that when wwent around 9:30 last night, the store was very crowded, but he didn't have to wait very long--the employees were operating like pit crews, I swear.
No syncing issues once he resolved a minor address conflict with Cingular, either.
And yeah...it really is pretty friggin' cool. I am extremely jealous.
