ND is still asleep, but I can tell you that when wwent around 9:30 last night, the store was very crowded, but he didn't have to wait very long--the employees were operating like pit crews, I swear.
No syncing issues once he resolved a minor address conflict with Cingular, either.
And yeah...it really is pretty friggin' cool. I am extremely jealous.
So who has a great speedy cell network?
I was at universal until 8:30 so I didn't get the iPhone until after you guys were done. So far it is pretty cool.
I'm happy with the speed of my Treo 700p on Sprint.
Posting from the iPhone and so far this thing rocks. The keyboard is actually very usable.
Nd is the first person
I
know who actually owns an iPhone. I'm not surprised in the least.
I'm glad to hear your experience so far is a positive one. There are so many activation horror stories out there, even from the editors of Macworld - [link]
The part that I thought was so bad was when he goes to the AT&T store for help activating his account and then tell him they are only selling iPhones that day.
It's black. All the iPhones are black.
My experience was quite good. There was a small snag since the address on my Cingular account was out of date but a five minute call to AT&T fixed it right up and the registration worked with no worries.
