Great minds think alike!
There is an xkcd iOS app that shows the rollover text.
If you view xkcd from its mobile site m.xkcd.com, there is an (alt-text) link next to the title of the comic. Tap on that, and the alt text will be displayed.
There's also an xkcd app. I have it on my phone.
Excellent! Thank you all for the info.
wow, it's like we are all xkcd fans or something. Strange. Hmmm, maybe we should think about opening a thread for it.

I am thinking of joining the world of the iphone. I will probably be using verizon, because the person I call/text the most is on verizon.
Considering I have wi-fi at home, work, and theatre, but I go on the internet for 2 hours on the bus, do you think 2G of data will be enough. I probably won't stream video on the bus, as it will cause people to talk to me.
I'm surprised at how little data I use on my iPhone. I'm on AT&T and have the 5G data plan, because that's the only AT&T plan that includes the Mobile Hotspot functionality.
I seem to be using about 10% of that. However, I don't watch videos or movies on my iPhone.
I use the internets on my iPhone about an hour each day that I take the train to work. Mostly I read blogs on Google Reader. Since I do it using the Mobile Hotspot for my laptop, I don't use the mobile version of Reader.
