You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

Trust my rage

This would probably be the right thread to note that over dinner tonight mr. flea said he wants to go down to the Mother of All Malls on Friday night, to see the people lined up/buying their iPhones.

I would like to be there - I can't decide if I'm going to buy one or wait - although I may have no choice since they won't be sold here and I can't really ask someone else to wait in line for me. I'm hoping they won't all sell out the first day.

My dad was talking to an Apple store employee who told him that the phones will go on sale at 6pm but that they won't actually arrive in the store until 4pm. And that employees can't buy one for two weeks. So maybe there will still be some around by the time I can get to a store.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Technological/musical people: My father is looking for a keyboard to plug into his computer. He doesn't need it to be flashy, but would like more than an octave or two. Anybody have models they've had success with, or ones to avoid?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Which, pray tell, is the Mother of all Malls?

(Asks the guy who lives near the first enclosed shopping mall, and also near the biggest in the US...)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I thought Canada had the biggest.

I've had good luck with the M-Audio Keystation's. They have them in various sizes. Decent, cheap, and a USB connection.

yes. That's why I specified the US.

Edmonton has the biggest in the world, I could not remember if the fleas lived near that one.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Daniel, this mother isn't the biggest anything -- it's just more over-the-top silly pretentious tacky pretending-to-be-something-better-than-a-mall than anything else within a few hundred miles of central NC.

But they did have the first Apple store in the area. So in spite of all that, I can't completely hate them even though I avoid them at all times.

information libertarian

It's not officially, or even widely, known as the Mother of All Malls or anything - that's just our private nickname. It's pretty behemoth for the region, though. This gives you a little sense of its overscale: [link]
