Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

Coding and Sleeping

You're looking for a feature called QOS or Quality of Service and a lot of routers support it these days.

This is the router I have which supports it, isn't very expensive, has gigabit ethernet, and a USB port for attached storage.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Does anyone use one of the free texting apps? GroupMe, Kik, etc? I'm trying to find ways to reduce my phone bill.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My go-to reflex for free texting (to the US and Canada, anyway) would be Google Voice, since it doesn't have any sort of ads or anything. Most of the ones I've seen mentioned on Lifehacker or elsewhere complain about apps or ads.

Astrid users, is your web interface working today? I'm getting a funky error and it's now telling me no tasks are due today. Whoot! Except I know it's not true.

Yup, mine looks just fine.

Hrm. That's really strange. I can see all the numbers of my tasks, but any time I click a list, it says, Error: Not Acceptable, and then zeroes out the list numbers.

I just upgraded Firefox, it must have broken it somehow.

Okay, no, it's not Firefox, explorer does it too. WTF, astrid?

smonster, for a while with Atlanta I was using something called like, "textplusgold"--it functioned just like the regular text app, but you had to give everyone a SEPARATE text message number. And every once in a while it would eat a text. ...these days I'd recommend only texting people who have iPhones, because then it's free. ;)

I got email back from astrid saying their site was down. So it's weird it was working for you, ita. But oh well. It's not like I don't know what I need to get done, and it's on the phone anyway.

Did I ever mention I radiate pure awesome? Possibly enough to fuel a webserver, but it certainly let me go in and mark a task complete just before I replied to you.
