The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Are his valued possessions like the British royal family and not allowed to all fly together at once?

Ha! Well, he does keep his phone and wallet in separate pockets ...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

:insert jewels joke here:

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Halp.

Ok, so I finally made a video to put on my biz webpage.

Problem is, I am a complete noob, have shit equipment and my video doesn't sync with what I'm saying.

It's here: [link]

I can take down the Youtube vid, but does anyone have any advice on how to make sure my words and my video match up? I really want to be able to make vids and embed them in my web page; it's a really good marketing tool.

I'm using Windows Live Movie Maker.

Um, also any other feedback on the vid is welcome. I'm pulling this all out of my butt.

ETA:

I played around, and it's definitely my crappy built-in webcam with the voice lag.

So I'm just going to try again with my camera tomorrow, and then edit with Movie Love Caption Maker thingie.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

10 cent Android apps for nine more days (including today). Mostly games, but there's some utilitarian stuff in there as well.

I've rooted my Cliq, and I'm currently installing CM 7.1 on it. I am very curious.

OMG. For a moment there I had a brick. But it's looking like a valid bootup screen.

The step I missed was putting the CM update file on the SD card before I started the process. I ended up having to switch out to the SD card to one I'd quickly copied it out onto, but other than that, just fine.

What made it simplest of all was the one click rooting.

Unfortunately I don't think I can do that with the G2. And I don't know if I want to root the tablet.

Fuck, CM looks like a dream on this stupid phone that was overloaded with Motorola bloatware. I'm going to fiddle with dressing it up as a backup phone for a while. This could be fun.

I mean, if I'm not going to be sleeping, I might as well achieve something.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I hope this is a joke:

CES 2012: Behringer unveils 8-foot wide, 10,000-watt iPod dock

We've checked the specs and we've checked the date, but it seems German audio company Behringer really has announced an 8-foot wide, 10,000-watt iPod/iPhone dock. Yes, that's an iPhone on top of the dock.

The iNuke Boom weighs over 315kg, stands 4-feet tall and will set you back a not inconsiderable $30,000. And looks utterly crazy.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Sounds to me more like a dare. Whoever designed it gets $5 from the guy who said "You'll never get anyone to buy that."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Unfortunately, audiophiles have their own version of Poe's Law. It's impossible to distinguish parody from the real thing.

Coding and Sleeping

Has anyone used tracfone for their cell service? Neither my wife nor I rack up many minutes (she averages about 120, I average about 50) on our cell phones and I'm usually near a wireless network so I don't have much need for data. It looks like we could save a significant amount of money going with a prepaid service even with our current super secret unavailable low-cost Verizon plan.
