Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just want to get "pretzels" not "Rold Gold Twists."

Then add pretzels. There's nothing stopping you doing that. You can add either brands or generics. I've gone through and done both--there's informative brand information in there about what's available, but sometimes just bacon is enough.

I don't see anything *not* simple about Grocery IQ. I can just type "Bacon" into the line at the bottom of the screen, or I can go a level deeper and say "Bacon" or go a level deeper than that and scan the barcode of the particular brand of bacon that's in my fridge. There's no requirement to commit to any level. And the lists are shareable too.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hm. I guess since I do the vast majority of my grocery shopping online anyway, having my grocery list in an app doesn't add much value. For some reason I thought it did more than that.

That would make for an interesting app, one that consolidated online groceries.

But I don't know how to make it an attractive business model is outside my scope.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ok, I need help, and I need help.

It's for the scavenger hunt. I am the techiest geek on our team (HA!) and I am creating, in wordpress.com, a gallery of US senators. You're supposed to mouse over each pic, and any "infamies" they're done are supposed to pop up when you roll over them.

Amy was really helpful, and I DID the gallery part (well, I've got the pix, still gathering dirt on 100 senators. With citations, because I'm like that). But I can get the info to come up when I CLICK on a pic, and it's supposed to appear when I MOUSE/ROLL over it.

Can anyone either (a) tell me, in clear language, how to do this, or (B) when I get the gallery up, go in as an admin and put in mouseover code.

As you can can tell, I am geek lite (but I am getting geekier, and reveling in it!)

I have to go to a church and try to get them to sing Eye of the Tiger for me in an hour or so. Reply here is good, reply at profile addy is good, and if you email me, I'll be happy to give out phone number if you need to talk me through it.

PLEASE.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What are you doing to get the info to come up when you click?

Just putting the info in the Gallery image thumbnail info.

Here's the (not finshed) page -- I just got the basic pix done in the gallery --- haven't added info yet. gishweshpolitical.wordpress.com/

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Make it the alt text for the image? I don't know what that is in WordPress without looking at it -- Caption, Description?

Yes, I can definitely do that -- but it's a click on, not a mouseover, which is what the rule stipulated.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Erin, when I mouseover the pictures now, I get the information popping up: Name (Party) State. This is not a thing I know about, but it seems to be working.
