Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

All is well that ends in pizza.

this suggests that the iMac G4 has a special jack, that was powered and DIGITAL.

Perhaps the speakers need more than just a jack...

Our wings are not tired

That is correct. Those speakers were an oddball experiment on Apple's part and as far as I know they will only work that specific model of Mac.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Question about AT&T cell charges for Text/Instant Messaging. If I don't use the $20/month unlimited option, it's $0.20 per message. Is the $0.20 charged for both messages sent AND received, or just messages sent?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Generally both.

Each message, as I've always understood plans, yes. Doesn't matter which direction the messages go.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

What Cass said.

Oh, and it is bullshit.

And highway robbery.

Other question--if I get a new iPhone, but don't want to change anything about my plan, can I do that? (I don't have unlimited data, but I do have the no-longer-extant texting plan between "unlimited" and "none" (or 500?))

meara,

yes, you may keep your plan (voice and text), but you need to add a data plan in order to have an iphone if you don't have a data plan already.

Replacing an iPhone, yes? Should be able to keep your plan, no problem.

Going to a smart phone from not!so!smart phone can demand leaving a grandfathered plan because of the data, but iPhone to iPhone shouldn't.

My knowledge is mostly Verizon, I will disclaimer.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Last time I upgraded, neither my unlimited data plan nor my text plan were offered anymore - all they could say was "I'm jealous" and roll it over.
