Can you backup your itunes directory, uninstall itunes and then reinstall it?

How come in Outlook calendars, I can see some people's meetings and not others? What I mean is, there are a handful of people where I can see what the meetings are, not just that they are booked. These are not people with any sort of reporting relationship to me.

It's making me paranoid that someone can see mine, though I don't know why I care.

(It's also making me speculate on whether our environmental safety guy has a daughter named Catherine, or if he really is taking his cat to flute lessons as his calendar would indicate. Or maybe he's learning to play the cat flute? The possibilities are, well, several.)

Custom text tones, mmmm. Now I just need to get a file of Geena Davis saying "Beetlejuice!" to turn into my custom text tone.

The calendar owner has control over settings in Outlook, so if they make their meetings open, you can see everything they see. In my office most people left their meetings open, but a couple used the setting that showed them as booked but not for what. And a couple kept the calendars open but put" private meeting" for personal stuff.

Also, if you have delegate access to a calendar, you can go in and see that stuff if you want to, but I assume you just have view access. (I had delegate access to the whole office because I needed to, but we were a pretty small and cosy office anyway.)

Question. If you know the length of a video, and the megapixel per second resolution, is there a rule of thumb for predicting video size? Or does it vary too much for there to be a useful rule of thumb?

You'd also need the codec and the bitrate.

Technically, all you'd need is the length and the bitrate - unit analysis says length in seconds times bitrate in bits/second = bits. I'm not sure what megapixel-per-second resolution is... that sounds like it might connect to bitrate somehow?

It works! Pretty nicely. You have to download the free Nike+ iPod app (or possibly you can just turn on Nike + iPod in Settings, I did both), but you don't need the dongle that the Nano does. You do need the sensor in your shoe (or on your laces). You can upload your run as soon as you are finished AND look at the nikerunning mobile site right there on the phone, immediate gratification FTW. I didn't try the heart rate band so I don't know that works, yet.

I actually meant to try out the Nike+ GPS app, but having the free "native" iPod app confused me...tomorrow...

Anyway, short answer, I like it. If you do go Nike+, I am TamaraS on there for exercise networking purposes.
