anybody know why Firefox isn't saving my passwords? for instance, the little ticky box i can click on my yahoo mail to keep me logged in for two weeks. if FF restarts, i have to enter that info all over again. same goes for b.org. i keep having to enter my info. it's annoying.

well...i thought the crashing issue was related to the most recent upgrade. so i took it back to 5.0.1, but it's still crashing. it was forgetting passwords in the most recent upgrade too, which is 6.0.2 i think. OS is Windows 7.

Under Tools-->Options, on the Security tab, verify that "Remember passwords for sites" is checked. Then look at the exceptions list and see if anything is there, or if it is blank.

Might also be worthwhile to check out the list of saved passwords.

Art Crawl!!!

A friend of mine just sent me a video that was shot on a phone but it's sideways, i.e., it should be portrait but it's landscape instead.

Is there an easy way to turn it rightside up?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Have a conversation with your phone. [link] If it didn't talk back I would be tempted to call one "Diane" after Agent Cooper's tape recorder.

Art Crawl!!!

The file says its a 3gp. And I think it opened up in Windows Media. (I just clicked on it and it ran - just sideways.)
