Under Tools-->Options, on the Security tab, verify that "Remember passwords for sites" is checked. Then look at the exceptions list and see if anything is there, or if it is blank.

Might also be worthwhile to check out the list of saved passwords.

I don't like the new format, but the Stacks functionality (a way to present your links) looks interesting.

The tags seem to be broken, though? This is how I read fanfic, so it is a big change for me if people stop using it that way or if the functionality of the tags changes.

I get a 404 when I go straight for the tag, but search still works fine.
