We're still working on a plan, but so far it involves being sent to prison and becoming somebody's bitch.

I've been doing desktop Cocoa app development for years, but haven't done iOS yet beyond "Hello World".

What programming languages do you already know?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I haven't dived in yet myself, but a couple of iOS devs I know highly recommended the Big Nerd Ranch iPhone Programming book: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I pretty much love Google voice, and love not usually needing to check voicemails, but this transcription was a doozy:

Good Morning ita, This is here in Santa Monica 931 of the mornings when I got my patient working to your car right now he is doing the OR change a service. He will be able to retrieve your iPod, he needs to remove the center console and the Ashley s somebody from there, so we can get it. And it on the last service. How your goal, they become a U all the things they're going to get to clean up a few Digital Systems and recommended to repay the sparkplugs I was a private meetings. That is the that instance, as this deal give you have not gotten back yet. We recommend you to come, you know that you need to rejection in this poppers replacement. I was hoping to maybe is at the brakes is as a safety issue so we have to meet encourage you to. The breakers, but we are based customer 29 definitely Jason goes 150 for this Poppins 178. If you do the service seeing the repair that you asked me. Plus, the brakes. You look it up telephone at 2 402. That is breaks I do you happen to cover, or is changed. The Apartment 3 will end up at night. If you decide to do everything you with us, 730 ask what the condition in the Starbucks replacement. Please call me and let me know if I can do any of these additional business, especially the brakes, which is the more important. Thank you again this is. Cortiope was wagon is 933 call me back.

What I love about it is that pretty much the only thing they got right was my name, capitalisation and all. As for the rest, I did have to give in and listen to this puppy. Yeah, he had an accent--Spanish.

Interestingly enough they can't handle my sister's pretty damned articulate accent well either.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Check the audio cables. Unplug and replug. See if that helps. Maybe the wall wart power supply for the speakers fell out the wall plug just enough to not get power? Or are they battery powered?
