Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Our wings are not tired

They are a regional overnight shipping company. They are used pretty heavily here in Los Angeles as well.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The main problem I have with Amazon is that occasionally I get things via Prestige Shipping and they are a fucking nightmare. Amazon has outsourced delivering some items (some books I think) to some private carriers in and around the midwest and they are some unprofessional mofos.

There is a whole complaint thread about Prestige Shipping and one time they fucked up an order and I told Amazon I never wanted them to deliver to me again and I have complained every time they fucked up. Amazingly, Prestige hasn't been my delivery service in several months and I order from Amazon all the time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

BN has a card and you get a discount and some free shipping, but it's not as cool as prime, eh?

Google Voice is now officially available for the Galaxy Tab. I can't work out if I should bother replace the version I sideloaded or not.

I can't work out if I should bother replace the version I sideloaded or not.

If you do you'll get notified of updates. If you don't like the official version you can always remove it and reinstall the one you've got now.

I'ma have a look.

I need an automated way to see the mail servers of a long list of domains and if they have SPF set up. What's the best way to do that?

Dear Virgin Mobile Tech Support:

I don't know how charged my battery is. I can't go to the main menu. As I have explained to you over and over, all I see is a flashing logo.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Frustrating! I hate that kind of thing, Ginger.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

We recently upgraded to MS Office 2010 (and boy, is the learning curve painful). I was asked to insert some charts into a PowerPoint file and send them to someone we work with a lot, but isn't on staff. Well, I did so. About 15 minutes after I sent it off I got a call and this plaintive voice says, "I can't open the file." Luckily, I realized what the problem was - he hadn't upgraded - and was able to send the file saved in the older version.

Wait, worse than upgrading to 2007?

Don't know - we went directly from 2003 to 2010.
