We recently upgraded to MS Office 2010 (and boy, is the learning curve painful).
Wait, worse than upgrading to 2007?

Don't know - we went directly from 2003 to 2010.
2010 is LOADS better than 2007.
I'll take your word for it (Word?) - but trying to work my usual schedule, with our biggest conference coming up, is painful.
Oh, it's still totally a learning curve (we upgraded in April, I publish for a living, and I am still learning it!), but 2007 was very confusing and counter-intuitive. 2010 goes back to making more sense.
I'm slightly boggled - I'm finding it very confusing to have to keep clicking on tabs ... and then finding that a lot of what I want to do doesn't seem to be available. I guess I'll get used to it ... eventually.
Toddson,
I am with you. I was told '10 was much better too and I find it aggravating. Microsoft is driving me to Pages.
For those of you following along at home, they're sending me a new phone. The second day I owned it, it went to flashing the logo and nothing else.
My sister, the computer programming professor, bought her wife a new MacBook Air. So, now I get to be tech support because she hated doing it.
