I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My laptop is getting close to death. I am looking at these specs:

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

How old is it? Maybe a little pricey, not horrible, though.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

msbelle, that's basically what mine is -- I think the one you're looking at has a larger hard drive than mine. Anyway, I love mine.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Anyone here use Evernote Premium. I'm just installing Basic on my Mac, and I'm impressed I get on the cloud for free. Just wondering if/when anyone hit limitations that made them update.

Or are you using another note tool?

Speaking of tools, what do you use for task management. I have Astrid on my tablet, and soon to be on the phone--I think that syncs on the cloud, but I don't know of desktop options yet. I do wish I could have something integrated with my email clients, but I know I use too many. Still, some sort of standard API/widget functionality would be nice.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I just got Evernote for my phone, but I haven't played with it yet. The SO just started using Astrid. He likes it.

Well, I just put Evernote to good use making a multimedia note shared between platforms--I like so far. I had Catchnote on my phone too, but I think this wins.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I love me some Evernote, especially after they made changes to it and I can do rich text notes.

You can tell how many data you have entered into Evernote by checking the web or your desktop client. I have recipes in mine and more "permanent" notes that I need to find.

I don't use tagging very much.

As far as to-do lists, I have not found the right client for that yet. I do like Wunderlist and I might revisit Google Tasks again. But I think I prefer a plain text/rich text solution.

Wow. This digitizer looks really cool. And $200 isn't that much compared to tablet costs.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm assuming this is fake, but I love the laser keyboard idea:
