You can't click on the arrow next to the playlist name in "Manage Playlists" in your account? When I do that, it takes me to that playlist's page. But I don't use Ping, so I'm not sure that will help you with the whole sharing (not paying) thing anyway.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

When I opted to publish a playlist, my only option seemed to be activating Ping. I eventually got past the "itunes timed out" and finally to the page I thought i wanted, only to time out again, hit the back button, but it took me to a completely different page. iTunes is not my friend, and I don't want any more playdates with it.

I can eventually get to my playlist page, but I'm still getting an error when I select Post. So it seems that selecting Publish isn't enough. But it won't let me do the second.

So, tunebites, something else?

Bonnie: I just bought a domain name on Sedo and it was a fairly good experience.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Does anyone know what happens if you use a "live" number for google voice (say your cell phone number) and then that number goes dead for some reason?

I'm asking because my work cell has a 202 number, and that number will die soon because I've been RIFed. But, if I claim it now for GV, what happens?

Thanks Una. Another friend recommended SEDO as well. I'm doing to give it a look today because this godaddy thing is out of control. I like having all my stuff in one place, but when that place is such a pain, it's not worth it.

I shouldn't totally damn gd, I've had good experiences with them in the past. Still, any new product they offer...in this case domain sales...just seems to cause more problems than it is worth.

Their customer service people are generally pretty good, but, for some reason, regular tech folk cannot access auction functions and that division is a 'no phone zone.' Email only support? Feh.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you using Google Voice now? GV will let you transfer an existing phone number so that it becomes your GV number. They charge a fee for that. But most people either give out their regular cell number and have voicemail forwarded to GV, or they give out their GV number and have it forward to their cell (still having GV's voicemail pick up if there's no answer). Which are you doing/would like to do?

Vortex,

Do you own the number or does work? If you own it then you can move it to GV.

I am sorry to hear about RIF.

Because books.

I just installed Chrome (which I like!), but I was wondering one thing -- when I go to copy text, here for instance, if I'm far enough up on the page, the highlighting goes to flush left, making it look like I'm also copying links from the lefthand side of the page. They don't paste with the other text, but is that a bug or a design flaw?

It just looks wrong to me.

I have noticed that with Chrome, too. The other thing it sometimes does is if I am typing in a box and there is wrapping text, and the last "letter" before the wrap would be a space, it refuses to believe in the space, and writes the two words togetherlikethis, and brings them both to the next line. Bizarre!

Huh. It seems like something that would be so easy to fix for developers, it's surprising Google's left it that way. Thanks, meara.
