Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Not, it should be said, that I am adverse to paying for things that are useful or work for me. But I'd be hesitant, personally, about paying a not small sum for at least three devices...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd rather spend that money buying diner for Scola. I mean, it's not worth it for at least four licenses, even with the bundle cost. I'll just retype instead.

All iOS and Android browsers should come with the option to spoof desktops. Some websites (io9, deviantArt) are very condescending.

What sort of issue could cause some of the devices on my network (wired and wireless) to not see the internet? My main PC goes blind from time to time (wired), and my work PC laptop is doing it right now. Never happens to the mobile devices or the Mac.

Judging from the steps that the Windows Network Diagnostics just took, the default gateway was unavailable. Except--totally available. Why should it go off for some computers?

Has anyone here ever used Rainmeter on their PC? I don't use my PC at home as much as I used to, but this looks kinda cool.

Hey, I'm selling a domain name I've had on ice since 1997. I put up a listing on craigslist...and could do the godaddy auction route as well.

Any other avenues I should pursue?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I don't know whether to post this here, in Music, or what, but I want to share a fanmix, but I am a willing victim of iTunes, and it seems rude to just say "listen to these songs, but, oh yeah, you have to buy them". I suppose not rude to the artists, but . . . morality aside, is there a way to share? I used to use Tunebites, I think, until they went to paid. I'll do that if it's the only option, but is there any other way?

I even tried publishing it as an iTunes playlist, except 1) I don't want my real name out there, and iTunes doesn't seem to allow for user names differing from billing information, and 2) I can't freaking find what I published!

I don't think your user name is visibly associated with playlists since I used to publish them for our textbooks all the time. If you've given it a unique name, enter that in the search store box in the upper right corner and it should appear in the playlist list in the lower left of the search results. Or, publish another unique playlist, search for that, and once you are in it you should see a link to "My Playlists." I can see all the playlists I've published together that way.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I updated iTunes just last week.

If I do a search for the playlist by title that I published, I get nothing. If I go through ping, I get nothing, if I go into my account profile, I find the the playlists, but if I back up one step, there's no way to get to the playlist. I see no tab for My Playlists, even though when in the playlist, it says "Ping > Juliebird > My Ping Playlists" and I see no way to share. Especially if the search function is not working (and my full name is showing up within the playlist).

Okay, I then selected Post, now that I actually found the playlist through the backdoor, and iTunes won't cooperate.

So, until I can get that problem figured out, is there an alternative?
