1password looks expensive--it looks like I have to buy it for every platform ($40, $40, $10) where I can enter passwords, and I can only view for now on Android.
If I read Keeper Password Vault right, the client is free, but you pay for the cloud synching ($10/year). So it would be about ten years before this solution was the pricier one. eta: No, it's $10/device/year. How irritating.
Okay, mom loves 1password but I don't think she's had to buy it for multiple plats. Or that she even paid $40 for it. Let me ping her and ask.

Not, it should be said, that I am adverse to paying for things that are useful or work for me. But I'd be hesitant, personally, about paying a not small sum for at least three devices...
I'd rather spend that money buying diner for Scola. I mean, it's not worth it for at least four licenses, even with the bundle cost. I'll just retype instead.
All iOS and Android browsers should come with the option to spoof desktops. Some websites (io9, deviantArt) are very condescending.

What sort of issue could cause some of the devices on my network (wired and wireless) to not see the internet? My main PC goes blind from time to time (wired), and my work PC laptop is doing it right now. Never happens to the mobile devices or the Mac.
Judging from the steps that the Windows Network Diagnostics just took, the default gateway was unavailable. Except--totally available. Why should it go off for some computers?
Has anyone here ever used Rainmeter on their PC? I don't use my PC at home as much as I used to, but this looks kinda cool.

I don't know whether to post this here, in Music, or what, but I want to share a fanmix, but I am a willing victim of iTunes, and it seems rude to just say "listen to these songs, but, oh yeah, you have to buy them". I suppose not rude to the artists, but . . . morality aside, is there a way to share? I used to use Tunebites, I think, until they went to paid. I'll do that if it's the only option, but is there any other way?
I even tried publishing it as an iTunes playlist, except 1) I don't want my real name out there, and iTunes doesn't seem to allow for user names differing from billing information, and 2) I can't freaking find what I published!
